- One part time Deanery Communications Lead (2 yrs)
- One part time Parish Administrator (3+ yrs)
- Several Mission Apprentices / Parish Interns (1-2 yrs)
Welcome to Ipswich! We are entering the next phase of our exciting ‘Inspiring Ipswich’ journey to see 1500 new disciples and numerous new worshipping communities. By God’s grace, we have already seen 1000 new disciples added to our number and 35 new worshipping communities but there is scope for much more. If you are passionate about making disciple-making disciples and interested in exploring one of our vacancies do get in touch. NB We are open to imaginative responses!

We are a growing, lively, informal-meets-liturgical liberal-catholic Anglican church with worship rooted in the sacramental tradition, in an estate parish to the West of Ipswich. We are committed and hard-working, running a ‘Top-Up Shop’ (food pantry), a ‘warm space’, wellbeing café, large youth group and youth congregation and much more. We have an awesome group of young people already part of our church and we are looking to grow our work with under 25s whilst also helping our adult congregation to deepen and grow. We invite you to help us share the love of God and to start a new worshipping community where people know they are welcomed, safe, and loved.

and Families
Would you like to plant a new congregation with a sacramental focus based around hospitality to children, young people and families in an area of high urban deprivation?
We are a growing civic church in the catholic Anglican choral tradition, nestled in the centre of a diverse & growing town. Among the activities and communities existing within the church are a ‘Top-Up Shop’ and a top-rate choir with over 60 members(nearly 40 under the age of 18). The opportunities for growing the church are enormous. We are looking for someone to help us reach out to children and young people that pass our door at evenings and weekends.

and Families
Come and join us if you’d like to help St Margaret’s become a beacon for children, families and young people in this central Ipswich parish that borders beautiful Christchurch Park. As part of a growing parish team, together we will discern and realise new pathways for people to grow in faith.
We’d love you to build on the pioneering work of our Parish Evangelist and the amazing relationships with our thriving local C of E school by planting a midweek congregation of children and families. St Margaret’s is a broad church with a mixture of different traditions.
