The Revd Canon Cheryl Anne Collins has submitted resignation for her post as Rector, Sudbury St Gregory with St Peter and Chilton.

The Revd Stéphane Jean Michel Javelle moves from her post as Assistant Curate, to her new post as Rector, Stoke by Nayland with Leavenheath and Polstead, and Nayland with Wissington.

The Revd Sarah Jean Jenkins, Assistant Curate, The Orwell and Deben Rural Benefice, moves to her new post as Rector, Combs and Finborough Benefice.

The Revd Kay Palmer, SSM Assistant Curate, Saint Mary Stoke with Saint Peter Stoke Park and Saint Francis and Saint Clare Ipswich, will be Assistant Curate, Ipswich Saint Mary Stoke. This change took effect on 1 August 2021 due to a new pastoral measure.

The Revd Mervyn Dye, SSM Assistant Curate, Saint Mary Stoke with Saint Peter Stoke Park and Saint Francis and Saint Clare Ipswich, will be Assistant Curate, Ipswich Saint Peter, Stoke Park. This change took effect on 1 August 2021 due to a new pastoral measure.

The Revd Dr Simon George Hill retires from his post as Rector, The Suffolk Heights Benefice and Acting Rural Dean, Clare Deanery. To retire with effect from 31 October 2021

The Revd Anthony James Redman retires from his post as SSM Assistant Priest, Blackborne Team Ministry and Assistant Rural Dean, Ixworth Deanery. To retire with effect from 15 August 2021. Tony will continue all his other diocesan roles and responsibilities.

The Revd John Loftus, House for Duty Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Wrentham, Covehithe with Benacre, Henstead with Hulver and Frostendon, will be House for Duty Rector of the benefice of Wrentham, Covehithe with Benacre, Henstead with Hulver and Frostendon. This title change is due to the lifting of the benefice suspension. He will be instituted and inducted as House for Duty Rector of this benefice by The Archdeacon of Suffolk, on 1 September 2021.

Ms Amanda Paula Goodman will be appointed as Lay Chaplain, East Suffolk & North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

The Revd Mark Osborne will be appointed as Chaplain, HMP Highpoint, on 9 September 2021, licensed by the Bishop of Dunwich.

The Revd John Henry Irwin moves from his post as SSM Assistant Curate, St Michael and All Angels London Fields with St Paul’s Haggerston, Diocese of London, to his new post as SSM Assistant Curate, Ipswich St Thomas.

The Revd Faith Edith Mary Marsden moves from her post as SSM Assistant Curate, Acton and Great Waldingfield, to her new post as SSM Rector, Acton and Great Waldingfield.

The Revd Simon White, in addition to his current roles as SSM Associate Priest, Bures with Assington and Little Cornard, will be Assistant Rural Dean, Sudbury Deanery. This will take effect on 31 July 2021.

The Revd Dr Karen Burton, in addition to her current roles as Team Rector, Blackborne Team Ministry, will be Assistant Rural Dean, Ixworth Deanery. This will take effect on 15 August 2021.

The Revd Thomas James Mumford moves from his post as Assistant Curate, Sudbury St Gregory with St Peter and Chilton and Assistant Rural Dean, Sudbury Deanery, to his new post as Interim Priest-in-Charge, Ipswich St Mary Le Tower.

The Revd Canon Charles Alexander Graham Jenkin, retires from his post as Vicar, Ipswich St Mary Le Tower, with effect from 31 August 2021.

The Revd Benjamin John Edwards moves from his post as Assistant Curate, St Edmundsbury Cathedral, to his new post as Vicar, Great Barton and Thurston.

The Revd Mark Bee, SSM Assistant Curate, the Benefice of Beccles St Michael and St Luke, will be SSM Assistant Curate, The Benefice of Beccles with Worlingham, North Cove and Barnby. This change of title is due to a new pastoral order. Mark will be licensed by the Archdeacon of Suffolk on 1 August 2021.

The Revd Philip Cudmore, SSM Assistant Curate, the Benefice of Beccles St Michael and St Luke, will be SSM Assistant Curate to be known as Associate priest, The Parish of Beccles with Worlingham, North Cove and Barnby. This change of title is due to a new pastoral order. Philip will be licensed by the Archdeacon of Suffolk on 1 August 2021.

The Revd Canon Richard Henderson, Rector, the Benefice of Beccles St Michael and St Luke and Priest in Charge, the benefice of Worlingham with Barnby & North Cove, will be Rector, The Benefice of Beccles with Worlingham, North Cove and Barnby. This change of title is due to a new pastorl measure. Richard will be licensed by the Archdeacon of Suffolk on 1 August 2021.

The Revd Canon Max Osborne, in addition to his pending new post as Rector, Horringer, will also be Rural Dean, Thingoe Deanery. This will take effect on 21 July 2021

The Revd Johanna Stacey Mabey moves from her post as SSM Assistant Curate, Alde Sandlings, to her new position as SSM Assistant Curate to be known as Assistant Priest, Alde Sandlings.

The Revd Mark Jason Woodrow, in addition to his current roles as Rector, The Stour Valley Benefice, will be Assistant Rural Dean, Clare Deanery. This will take effect on 11 June 2021.

The Revd Paul Clarke, Rector, The Benefice of Walton and Trimley, will in addition to his current role be Assistant Rural Dean, Colneys Deanery. This took effect on 20 May 2021.

The Revd Rachel Jane Revely moves from her post as Assistant Curate, Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Diocese of Lincoln, to her new post as Priest In Charge, St Thomas The Apostle and Martyr.

The Revd Canon Sharron Coburn, Rector, The Benefice of Brandon, will in addition to her current role be Assistant Rural Dean, Mildenhall Deanery. This took effect on 1 May 2021.

The Revd Tom Rout has submitted resignation for his post as Priest in Charge, The Benefice of Ipswich St Helen, Holy Trinity and St Clement with St Luke.

Capt Andrew Payne CA has submitted resignation for his post as Evangelist, of The Benefice of South West Ipswich Team Ministry and Diocesan Evangelist Adviser.

The Revd Clive Howard has submitted resignation for his post as Vicar, The Benefice of Woodbridge St John and Bredfield. This will take effect on: 9 August 2021 following a period of sabbatical from 14 April 2021 to 14 July 2021.  The Revd Clive was appointed as Chaplain at James Paget University Hospital on 9 August 2021.

The Revd Canon Malcolm Max Eric Osborne moves from his post as Vicar, All Saints Newmarket and Rural Dean, Mildenhall, to his new post as Rector, Horringer and Assistant Rural Dean, Thingoe.

The Revd Peter Mark Lowther, Rector at Alde Sandlings, will retire with effect from 31 August 2021.

The Revd Leslie Siu, in addition to his current role as Vicar, Wickham Market with Pettistree, will be Rural Dean, Loes Deanery as of 28 January 2021.

The Revd Annette Shannon, in addition to her current role as Rector, The North Samford Benefice, will be Assistant Rural Dean, Samford Deanery, as of 28 January 2021.

The Revd Canon Liesbeth Oosterhof, in addition to her current role as Rector, Shoreline Benefice, will be continuing her role as Rural Dean, Samford Deanery, for a further two years.

The Revd Chris Davey, in addition to his current role as Priest in Charge, Framlingham with Saxtead, will be Assistant Rural Dean, Loes Deanery, as of 28 January 2021.

The Revd Ian Daniels, SSM Associate Priest, The Benefice of Ipswich St Augustine’s, will also be SSM Lead Minister, Lindbergh Road Community Church (a church plant, part of Inspiring Ipswich) in the parish of Ipswich St Augustine’s as of 31 January 2021.

The Revd David John Everett moves from his post as PTO, to his new post as SSM Interim Team Vicar, The Forest Heath Team Ministry.

The Revd Charlotte Alice Cook, in addition to her current role as Half Time Priest in Charge, Westerfield and Tuddenham St Martin with Witnesham, will be Assistant Rural Dean, Ipswich deanery. This will take effect on 16 February 2021.

The Revd Eric Falla moves from his post as SSM Assistant Curate, East Bergholt and Brantham, to his new post as House for Duty, Interim Priest in Charge, Bramford with Little Blakenham, Baylham and Nettlestead.

The Revd Andrew Buttress moves from his position as Assistant Curate, Ipswich St Matthew with Triangle and All Saints, to his new position as Assistant Curate (to be known as Leader),Bridge Church,Ipswich Deanery.

The Revd Mark Cresswell, Interim Priest in Charge of The Benefice of Carlford and The Parish of Culpho, will be Interim priest in Charge of The Benefice of Carlford. This is due to a new pastoral measure which took effect on 1 January 2021.

The Revd Canon Tim Jones has submitted resignation for his post as Diocesan Director of Ordinands and New Ministries and Associate Priest, The Benefice of The Lark Valley and North Bury Team. Tim will be taking up a new post as Diocesan Director of Ministry and Discipleship in the Diocese of Llandaff.

The Revd Andy Todd, SSM Assistant Curate of The Benefice of St Mary’s Woodbridge, will be SSM Assistant Curate of The Benefice of Woodbridge St Mary with Great Bealings. This is due to a new pastoral measure which took effect on 1 January 2021.

The Revd Gary Jones, SSM Assistant Curate of The Benefice of Kesgrave, will be SSM Assistant Curate (to be known as local minister) of The Benefice of Kesgrave with Little Bealings and Playford. This is due to a new pastoral measure which took effect on 1 January 2021.

The Revd Robin Spittle, Vicar of The Benefice of Kesgrave, will be Rector of The Benefice of Kesgrave with Little Bealings and Playford. This is due to a new pastoral measure which took effect on 1 January 2021.

The Revd Nigel John Prior, Rector of The Benefice of St Marys Woodbridge and Priest in Charge of Great Bealings, will be Rector of The Benefice of Woodbridge St Mary with Great Bealings. This is due to a new pastoral measure which took effect on 1 January 2021.

The Revd David Preece, moves from his post as Assistant Curate, Busbridge and Hambledon, Diocese of Guildford, to his new post as Priest in Charge, Saxmundham with Kelsale cum Carlton,.

The Very Revd Jo Delfgou, in addition to his current posts as Rector, The Benefice of Hadleigh, Layham and Shelley, and The Dean of Bocking, will take on the new role of Rural Dean, Hadleigh Deanery, on 1 January 2021. Jo will be taking over from The Revd Mark Woodrow.

The Revd Michael Mike Keith Simm, moves from his post as Minister, Cliff Park Community Church, Gorleston, Norwich Diocese, to his new post as Minister, Southgate LEP.

The Revd Daniel Harrison, in addition to his current posts as Rector, South Bosmere, will also be Assistant Rural Dean, The Gipping Valley Deanery. This appointment will take effect on 25 January 2021.
