Appointments and Retirements
The Bishops' Office has recently announced the following appointments and retirements. In addition, the Diocesan Secretary has announced staffing changes at the Diocesan Board of Finance; these are included below.

The Reverend Richard ELLIS currently SSM Assistant Priest the Benefice of Leiston with Sizewell is to retire with effect from 13 March 2017. He will have Permission to Officiate from 14 March 2017.

The Reverend Patricia Yvonne WRIGHT who currently has Permission to Officiate in the parishes of Bramford, Little Blakenham with Baylham and Nettlestead has been given Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich,

The Reverend Philip John MERRY currently SSM Assistant Curate at the Benefice of Great Bealings and Little Bealings with Playford and Culpho is to be Priest in Charge Badwell and Walsham Benefice. He will be licensed on 24 April 2017 at 7.30pm at Walsham le Willows Parish Church.

The Revd Martin PHILLIPS-LAST currently Priest-in Charge the Benefice of Leiston with Sizewell is to be Senior Priest in the Parish of Ammochostas, Cyprus. He will be licensed on 25 March at The Church of Ayia Nappa.

The Reverend David James SWALES currently Rector at Haughley with Wetherden and Stowupland is to be Priest-in-Charge at St Christopher, Pott Shrigley in the Diocese of Chester. His will be licensed on Tuesday 30 May at 7.30pm at St Christopher's, Pott Shrigley by the Bishop of Chester.

The Reverend Lorraine DAWSON currently Deputy Lead Chaplain at West Suffolk Hospital NHS Trust is to be Chaplain at Ninewells Hospital, NHS Scotland. She will finish on 13 January 2017 and her licensing with be early February 2017.

The Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rt Revd Dr Mike HARRISON (in addition to his post as Bishop of Dunwich) as Warden of Readers and Licensed Lay Minsters.
Mr Malcolm RITTMAN, Reader and a Chaplain to the Diocesan Office will, in addition, be Deputy Warden of Readers and Licensed Lay Minsters.
The Reverend Rosemary Ives Stewart RYCRAFT currently Assistant Curate in the benefice of Mildenhall (known as parish priest of Beck Row with Kenny Hill, Eriswell, Icklingham All Saints with St James, and Tuddenham with Cavenham , Herringswell and Red Lodge) is to be Priest-in-Charge and Team Vicar Designate of the benefice of Dalham, Gazeley, Higham Green, Kentford and Moulton. She will be licensed on Sunday 29 January 2017 at 3.30pm at Gazeley Parish Church.
The Reverend Philip Hugh Owen MILLER currently SSM Assistant Curate (known as Associate Priest) the benefice of Beccles St Michael and St Luke is to be Priest-in-Charge of The Hundred River and Wainford Benefice. He will be licensed on 20 February 2017 at 7.30pm at Ilketshall St Andrew Parish Church.
