The Bishops' Office has recently announced the following appointments and retirements. In addition, the Diocesan Secretary has announced staffing changes at the Diocesan Board of Finance; these are included below.

The Reverend Dr John Frederick ELDRIDGE currently Vicar The Benefice of Wickham Market with Pettistree will retire with effect from 30 September 2018.
The Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Jeanette Margaret Gosney, BA, PGCE, BTh, MPhil, MA, as Diocesan Advisor for Women’s Ministry with effect from 20 June 2018. This will be in addition to her current roles as Bishops’ Ministry Officer and SSM Associate Priest at St Mary le Tower, Ipswich.

The Right Reverend Graeme Paul KNOWLES, CVO FKC, Honorary Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is to step down from the position of Non Stipendiary Residentiary Canon and Acting Dean of St Edmundsbury Cathedral on 13 July 2018.
He will continue to be an Honorary Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.
