The Fair Trade Shop Ipswich is situated in Upper Brook Street, a busy street in the centre of Ipswich. The range of products is wide: from food and beverages, homeware, wooden toys, jewellery, clothing, accessories, cards and stationery, incense and ethically produced toiletries and kitchen/bathroom requirements. A refill service of laundry and toiletry products is also offered – just bring your own container.
A Sale or Return service is available for special events which can be collected and returned to the shop. In addition if you know of an event that may be interested in having a stall, the shop may be able to provide this and man it, subject to distance and a volunteer being available. Outside sales can also be organised on a rolling basis – you collect from the shop, pay for items when sold and top up when required. The shop hopes to have an online shop up and running in the Spring. It is hoped that this will give those who wish to support fair trade but are unable to visit the shop an opportunity to purchase from it.
In the meantime if you are in Ipswich town centre please call in and visit. The shop is open from 9.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Saturday.
