Wellbeing/ Resilience
- wellbeing support including an annual resilience (wellbeing) day for church school Headteachers on 5 July 2019

Leadership and management
- attending and advising on headship shortlisting meetings and interviews
- leading pre- and post-NPQH days for aspiring Headteachers
- handling the appointment and resignation of foundation governors
- governor training
- supporting partnerships between schools
- general management advice to Headteachers on school improvement, staffing and wellbeing
- Leading a church school training (new this year)
- support in working effectively with parents (new this year)

Small schools
- a Small Schools Forum for Headteachers and governors, next meeting at 4pm on 1 July at Coddenham (new this year)
Admissions
- advice on admissions policies
- attendance at admission appeals and advice on writing the statement required
Academisation
- information and advice for those schools which are considering academisation
RE and Collective Worship (CW)
- supporting a network of RE subject leaders
- termly ‘basics’ courses on RE and collective worship for heads, SLTs and governors
- training and resources on RE, collective worship and distinctive Christian values
- induction of NQTs in RE and CW
- in-depth support for RE and CW elements of SIAMS
- strategies for strengthening SMSC / British values
- developing links with local clergy and faith communities
- support for the implementation of the Emmanuel Project for RE (EYFS to Y6) – see Resources for Sale
Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS)
- co-ordinating the inspection of church schools
- training and support prior to SIAMS inspections, including reviewing SEFs
Buildings
- managing the LCVAP programme which supports building projects in aided schools
- managing DFC on behalf of aided schools
- researching school site ownership
- support at academy conversion, and assistance in dealing with site acquisitions/disposals/transfers/leases
