Inspiring Ipswich Community Engagement

Churches play an essential role in caring for our communities.

Ipswich churches play a key part in the life of our communities through our Top Up Shops, well-being groups, community lunches and so much more. We often see people for their significant life events like weddings and funerals and are known for supporting vulnerable individuals throughout the town.

In recent years we’ve been delighted to see that many of our confirmation candidates have come to faith through first meeting us at one of these community activities.

If you’d like to get involved we’d love to hear from you! Do contact us through inspiring.ipswich@cofesuffolk.org

Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Groups

A Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group is a safe and supportive space for people, who feel or have felt overwhelmed, to meet together.  In Ipswich we have run them in schools, community groups and in our churches. The groups are facilitated in a peer mentoring style. Issues covered include; disappointment, loss, anxiety, anger perfectionism, shame and resilience.  To find out more or to find a group please email Alicia Holmes.
