If you're stuck with not knowing what to do this December, then look no further! There are plenty of festive activities you and your family can partake in, both indoors and out. Here are just some of the things available locally:
#FollowTheStar includes a pocket-sized booklet inviting you to sign up to #FollowTheStar for the twelve days of Christmas Wonder to order the booklet, sign up for reflections, or download the app here. The booklet includes pictures, short Bible passages, simple prayers and a challenge to reflect or act differently. Together, they form a journey through Jesus’ early life – a journey that will help you take the joy and wonder of Christmas into the year ahead.
The #Followthestar campaign includes Advent reflections by the Archbishop of Canterbury and a series of new Christmas videos promoting services and events. These will be launched soon so keep an eye on social media to share the content.
If you are looking for family resources for your children's activities there are lots of ideas available on the Church of England website here. Finally don’t forget to ask Alexa TM for daily prayers over the festive period!
Christingle with the Children's Society

Last year more than 6,000 celebrations raised almost £1.3 million to light up the lives of children and young people.
