Learning from Luther today

Saturday 30 September at St Edmundsbury Cathedral

A special day conference for clergy and laity to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, and to investigate Luther’s continuing impact today on our theology and worship.

We are privileged to welcome as our speakers Dr Karl Ulrichs and Dr Kathrin Oxen, theologians from Wittenberg, Germany, and Professor Ian McFarland, Regius Professor of Divinity at Cambridge, and himself a Lutheran.

The day will include presentations and discussion and will conclude with the Cathedral Evensong at which Dr Oxen will preach.  Bishop Martin will host and introduce the day.
